FITTINGS, COUPLINGS AND CAPS
Coupling is a device used to connect the fire hose to the valve and to the nozzle.
Adaptors and blank caps are needed in special cases:
adaptors are used to switch from one size to another size or from a threaded end to a quick connection, while blank caps are used to shut connections fitted on a fire equipment.
Spanners to allow complete connection of the couplings are designed according to applicable standard.
